C3 aims to solve the global problem of commercial copyright theft.
Thousands of books, television and radio programs around the world use music and lyrics that are copyright protected for commercial gain, without the permission of the original artist. Artists lose millions of dollars a year.
C3 (or “crowdsourced copyright community”) is a platform for crowdsourcing information on commercial copyright infringement, that rewards people for reporting copyright theft, and works to get artists the money they’re owed.
The just launched signup webpage is: c3.instapage.com and people around the world are invited to register as “Crowd Heroes”, where if their report is accepted could earn $200 for 20 seconds of form filing.
